This Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1 p.m. there will be a memorial service at Bethel for Barbara Collyer. Over the years Barbara has been a valued member of Bethel and a servant to her Lord. Barbara was a member of the choir, a past president of Bethel United Methodist Women, the Chair of the Endowment committee and she contributed many of her wonderful paintings to the auctions.
A luncheon will be served in the Social Hall following the service on Saturday. A wonderful way for you to remember Barbara would be to contribute to the luncheon – it was her desire to bring friends and family together over a meal. Fried chicken and beverages will be provided but we will need side dishes to fill out the buffet table. Salads of all kinds, casseroles, hot and cold vegetable dishes, fruit, breads and desserts will all be most welcome. In the generous spirit of Bethel Church, I hope you will please consider providing a dish.

She would like to have the items delivered to the church kitchen by 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Also, if any of you are able, extra hands to serve and clean-up will be greatly appreciated.
