Honduras Mission Outreach

The Honduras Mission Outreach is a grassroots ministry to the very poor in Honduras. Churches in Virginia, Missouri, and Oklahoma work together to make a difference in the lives of the very poor by helping to enable Hondurans to help one another by developing home businesses, improving educational opportunities, and improving sanitation and health.

Glen Evans, a UMC minister, gave up his church to run a mission in Honduras. He lives in Arlington and goes to Honduras numerous times through out the year. Presently he is building a school and college down there. He uses Chiquita Banana trailers going back to Honduras to ship the items.

The Honduras Mission Outreach in needs donations of many items, including:

  • toys
  • household items
  • clothing
  • hardware
  • power and hand tools
  • construction items
  • shoes that are in GOOD serviceable condition
